Gave some money to my Alma Mater, Neoma Business School. With the Neoma Alumni, they launched a philanthropy, helping students, a startups incubator, fostering diversity… It is so important to keep in touch with the other generations of students and alumni, the members of the faculty, the teachers and researchers. All in all, I would have not created a startup while still being a student without the support of my school and its alumni.
But also, back in the days, I had real problems to make ends meet, and there was no philanthropy that could be there for me in the moments of hardship. No time to complain about the past now, but to act and support the new generations.
I also like the fact that it’s not easier to help philanthropies even when they are located in another European country, that did help.
